This Saturday morning I got up for a morning paddle. After my month of illness (sore throat to lungs packed with phlegm to hacking cough to ear infection to ringing ears) it was nice to finally feel well enough to break a sweat.
Practice was a 7:10 start, so no sleeping in this weekend. It was a wicked time though cause it was so foggy. On the water you couldn't tell where the water ended and the fog began let alone see the shore. I took a photo of the dock and fog(above) yet it doesn't do it justice.
After practice I went for coffee with some of the NZ team and we talked about there upcoming trip to Canada for Worlds in Dartmouth. They are quite excited to see what paddling in Canada is like!
